We are good friends that have been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for nearly a year so far. On September 16th, representing “Ribeiro/LovatoNW”, we entered our first tournament. It was the Oregon Open Invitational, and we both made it to the podium! Our Team brought home 8 medals with 8 competitors! There were more than 700 entrants from all around the Northwest.
Our next competition is the 21st of this month. Each competition ranges from $65 to $95 (for each of us). When coupled with the cost of travel, a trip can cost $300 to $500. This is in addition to the regular cost of training & seminars (which our parents take care of – we are only Nine & Ten, after all).
We are currently looking for sponsors to help us meet the goal of attending tournaments on a regular basis. We hope that we can count on you to help get us there. Any sized contribution is appreciated! All Sponsors donating $50 or more will receive a commemorative, framed photo (‘Thank you’) for display in your business lobby or home (upon request).
Looking to advertise? Just wanting to nourish a child’s talent? For those $100 Sponsors, we can add your patch or logo to our Competition Gi’s (upon request, age appropriate), and we’ll add your ‘hashtag’ or ‘URL’ to all of our Social Media around the dates of the events. There are multiple Instagram & Facebook accounts associated with us, and as we grow in our talents, our parents are growing in theirs (encouragement & tech-support).
